- Type-material: syntype workers (number not stated).
- [Notes (i): Bolton (unpublished notes) 1978, failed to find any material of this taxon in OXUM; (ii) the original description implies the existence of several syntypes; (iii) earlier Bingham, 1903: 358, and Donisthorpe, 1932c: 445, had said that the “type” was in BMNH.]
